Gryffindors hate Slytherins

Brandy sat in the hallway with her back to the wall as rested her chin on her knees. She wasn't exactly having the best day, and Slytherins kept finding a way to tease her, or hurt her. She looked down at the floor and sighed. Nothing had changed about Hogwarts, it was the same ruteen as always.

Brandy looked over at the girl who had just greeted her. Brandy smiled as much as she could muster herself to smile and greeted her in return, "Hello to you to. My name is Brandy", She said holding out a hand for her to shake. She held out her left hand, since her other hand was bruised up from the abuse she had reaseved from a Slytherin earlyer that day.

Brandy winced when she looked down at her own injured hand. She nodded her head, "Yes. It will heal in time im sure. Im used to it, Slytherins dont exactly like Muggleborn people", She said with a sigh.

"Most purebloods are. Im asuming you are a pureblood, but what i dont get is why you havn't hurt me yet like all the others", Brandy said. She looked back down at her hand and shook her head in disagreement. "No, i havn't. I figure if i did and they got detention for it, they would hurt me even worse", She murmered.

Brandy smiled gently. "Your going to help me?", She asked, she almost didn't beleive what she was hearing. Brandy didn't exactly have any friends at Hogwarts, just enamies, the fact that someone was willing to help her, made her feel a bit hopefull.

Brandy laughed, her laugh twinked like a bell sounding just as fragile and small as she was. "I promise", She said with a smile. She shook her head, "Im not sure who did it, they caught me by surprise, but i know it was a boy", She said nearly shuddering at the memory.

"Alright", Brandy agreed. She thought for a moment, "Charms", Brandy answered after a few seconds of silence. Her favorite subject was not the same as the other Gryffindors', she didn't exactly enjoy any other subject besides Charms or Transfiguration, but charms was deffinetly her best.

"You like astronamy? So do i. Nobody else seems to enjoy that class, or so i thought", Brandy said, surprised that Someone other then herself liked the stars and the sky.

"I love the nothern star. I've aways liked it becuase of the way it is always in the sky, and the many stories of people fallowing the north star to direct them when they are lost", Brandy said remembering all the tales she had heard from her muggle father, he had said that he once fallowed the northern star when he was lost in a large forest.

Brandy grinned and nodded, "Yes i love there names as well", She said and then looked back down at her hand remembering that it was still bruised up. "You dont happen to know a healing spell do you?", She asked quietly.

"Thank you", Brandy said examining her now healed hand. "I need to remember that spell", She grinned. Brandy got to her feet and looked down the hall, nowing she had to leave for class, but not wanted to get attacked again.

Brandy shook her head. "No, it's fine. I cant be afriad of them or ill be giving them what they want", Brandy answered. "Thank you, for your help", She said and sighed before walking down the hallway and through the door at the end.
